Price: £85 for one person additional £65pp from the same household (£65 for your first DASH course booked in 2024 if you are a member)

Time: 10am - 4.30pm
Provided: Tea, coffee, biscuits
What you need to bring: Lunch, scruffy but clean outdoor clothes, clean wellies

The courses are run on a one-to-one basis or for members of the same household.

The ‘Goat Keeping for Beginners’ course will provide you with essential practical information to start looking after goats. We will cover goat produce and breeds, choosing your first goats, legal obligations, handling, housing, outdoor space and feeding requirements, signs of goat health and illness, medicines, routine care (e.g. hoof trimming), milking and kidding. The course incorporates hands-on interactions with our small and lovely herd of Golden Guernsey goats.
