What you need to bring: Lunch, scruffy but clean outdoor clothes, clean wellies

The courses are run on a one-to-one basis for people from one household at a time, and are tailored specifically to suit the participants' needs.

Other dates cn be arranged to suit interested parties.

The course covers:

Choosing your first goats, legal obligations, handling, housing and outdoor space, feeding requirements, goat health and illness, medicines and routine care (e.g. hoof trimming).

Goat produce (dairy, meat and/or fibre), breeding, milking and kidding will be covered according to participants' interests.

The course incorporates hands-on interactions with our small and lovely herd of Royal Golden Guernsey goats.
