Provided: Tea, coffee, biscuits Comprehensive course notes are provided for you to take away.
What you need to bring: Lunch, scruffy but clean outdoor clothes, clean wellies
The courses are run on a one-to-one basis or for 2-3 members of the same household at a time, and are tailored specifically to suit the participants' needs.

The ‘Goat Keeping for Beginners’ course will provide you with essential practical information to start looking after goats. We will cover choosing your first goats, breeds, legal obligations, handling, housing, outdoor space and feeding requirements, signs of goat health and illness, medicines and routine care (e.g. hoof trimming).
Goat produce (dairy, meat and/or fibre), breeding, milking and kidding , will be covered according to participants' interests.
The course incorporates hands-on interactions with our small and lovely herd of Royal Golden Guernsey goats.
