Are you thinking about starting a smallholding or are you new to it all?

This half day taster session will cover the basic essentials to help you on your way.

Legal and statutory requirements.

Land management - fencing, pasture management etc.

Tools and equipment - do I need a tractor?

Animal husbandry - housing, handling, medication, etc.

Visit the livestock - Poultry, Sheep, Pygmy Goats, Pigs and Cows
